A heart-wrenching rescue of an emaciated mama dog and her puppies in Ensenada brings hope as The Animal Pad and Los Adoptables rush to find a foster. A story of compassion and community.

Lenny, a 2-year-old, 45-pound dog, is house-trained, social, and loves attention. He's ready for adoption and would make a great emotional support animal. Learn more about Lenny and how you can give him a loving forever home.

Last week The Hero Club sponsored Freedom Ride #29, the 29th time our little club has paid the expenses related to a life-saving transport. This time we had 7 beautiful fur-babies, 6 of which were pulled from kill shelters on the day they were to be put down. Cara and one of her volunteers drove 1,000 miles north dropping each off at their new foster or fur-ever home along the way.

October, a sweet 4-year-old pittie mix, has spent 1,341 days at The Animal Pad, a no-kill shelter in San Diego. We are committed to helping October find his fur-ever home this month, and we need the support of the We Love Doggos community. If you live in Southern California or know someone who does, consider adopting October and giving him the loving home he deserves. Our Hero Club will cover all adoption-related costs—this mission is about making a difference in October’s life.

Every Friday, Cara from the Underdog Railroad performs a life-saving mission called Freedom Ride Friday, rescuing dogs from euthanasia. This past Friday, she saved a gray and white pit bull named Boog, who was just four hours away from being put down at the Stockton Animal Shelter. Once in Cara's care, Boog’s anxiety melted away as she realized she was safe. Boog is now the first passenger on Freedom Ride #29, a mission sponsored by the We Love Doggos Hero Club, which will transport 24 dogs to foster and forever homes.

Meet Simba, a puppy rescued from a hole in Ensenada. His heartwarming story highlights how community efforts, including the We Love Doggos Hero Club, helped transform feral puppies into affectionate companions. This story showcases the life-saving impact of rescue missions and fostering.

On a recent mission to Mexico, a malnourished and weak German Shepherd named Willie was found abandoned by the side of the road. After being fed and treated, the team couldn't bring him back immediately, but Lauren from The Animal Pad returned the next day to rescue him. Willie now lives happily in San Diego with eight other rescue dogs, enjoying his new life filled with love and care.
