Every Friday, Cara from the Underdog Railroad performs a life-saving mission called Freedom Ride Friday, rescuing dogs from euthanasia. This past Friday, she saved a gray and white pit bull named Boog, who was just four hours away from being put down at the Stockton Animal Shelter. Once in Cara's care, Boog’s anxiety melted away as she realized she was safe. Boog is now the first passenger on Freedom Ride #29, a mission sponsored by the We Love Doggos Hero Club, which will transport 24 dogs to foster and forever homes.

Willie now lives happily in San Diego with eight other rescue dogs, enjoying his new life filled with love and care.
